We cordially invite you to our annual Herpa “general inspection” on July 4, 2026, from 9 am. to 5 pm. A number of highlights await you on our premises in Dietenhofen, Franconia, minus, of course, any repair orders or further charges!
What might you expect on the day?

✔ Production tour - take a look behind the scenes and experience first-hand how our miniature vehicles are made

✔ Models, models, and more models - whether exclusive special models, rarities, or craft bags - everyone will get their money's worth

✔ Unique show trucks parked on site - to inspect, marvel at, and, of course, photograph

✔ Volunteers, manufacturers, and partners offering a variety of products and hands-on activities

✔ Recharge your batteries in our hospitality tent with Franconian delicacies and refreshments

✔ Live interviews - our experts will be on hand to answer your questions

✔ And so much more...

So, pencil in date of inspection, and when the time comes, chocks away, heading for Herpa!

Over 40 show trucks on the festival site

Take a look under the hood of the giants at the big Open Day: more than 40 impressive show trucks will be on display across the festival grounds for you to admire. Discover the real-life inspirations behind our miniature models up close, snap a few souvenir photos, and chat with the drivers. With a bit of luck, you might even get an autograph from our Trucker Babe. And a quick inspection tour through the MAN Arena is definitely worth it as well.

Exhibitors in the Manufacturer Activity Park

In the Manufacturer Activity Park, you can take a closer look at the latest innovations, enjoy engaging conversations, and get hands-on with a variety of interactive activities. Our exhibitors from across the industry will be happy to answer your questions, talk shop, and even take a look at the odd technical detail with you.
We are certain that this variety easily passes every quality check and will be a real highlight of the big Open Day at Herpa.

Volunteers and catering

Our volunteer helpers are not only on duty at Herpa on July 4th, but throughout the entire year. On the day of the event, they will also bring their vehicles onto the grounds and will be happy to let you take a closer look, answer questions, or have a bit of technical shop talk with you.
After so many impressions, you are more than welcome to take a break yourself: in the catering tent, Franconian specialties, delicious ice cream, and refreshing cold drinks are waiting to be enjoyed.
