The KUBO haulage company from Breitscheid in Hesse can already look back on more than 100 years. It all started a little strangely in 1918 when, after the end of the war, soldiers passed by the founder Karl Kuhlmann on their way home and he allowed them to stay overnight. They had six heavy horses and trailers with them, of which they lost two horses and a cart in the evening over a game of beer and cards. It all began with this “starting capital”. Today, the company has 70 tractor units and 200 trailers, which are managed, driven and maintained by 120 employees. This new DAF XG+ is one of the latest tractor units and comes with a matching curtainsider trailer in a limited edition.
