Braniff International Boeing 727-100 - solid lime green
Lime green was the last “solid” color created by design agency Harper & Green for Braniff and was introduced in September 1967. Only one BAC 1-11, DC-8 and Boeing 707 each received the bright and friendly color, but no less than six Boeing 727 did. Among them was the trijet registered N300BN, the original to this limited-edition release in the 1/500 scale. Delivered to Braniff in 1969, it remained part of the Texan airline's fleet until 1982.
